Do I Have To Be Water Baptized To Be Saved?
No.
Water baptism is a "Hebrew water rite" that opened the door to the kingdom for the nation
of Israel during the earthly ministry of Christ.
The reason there is so much confusion among "churches" about this subject is a failure to
"rightly divide the word of truth".
When we rightly divide the word of truth we give to Israel what belongs to Israel and we give to the
body of Christ what belongs to the body of Christ.
Water Baptism belongs to the nation of Israel and was required for them for salvation.
However in the current "dispensation of the grace of God" salvation is by grace through
faith apart from Israel.
There are 14 different kinds of baptism in the Word Of God and only one of them is with water.
Paul says there is but "one baptism" for the age of grace.
This one baptism is where the believer is placed into the body of Christ and has nothing whatsoever
to do with water.
