Preaching The Grace Of God
From The King James Bible - Dispensationally
Delivered
Berean Bible Church – Edgewater, Florida
1 Cor 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle,
because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his
grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not
I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what
life brings to us, but by the attitude of grace we bring to life.
And we see this in the life of Paul – our pattern for life in this age.
Paul’s attitude towards the circumstances of life was grace. The degree to which you and I submit
our selves to the grace of God is the measure of our love to him. Paul was resolved to allow grace
to work… indeed it was the only thing that could work for him.
Only Grace Would Work For Paul
1 Tim 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted
me faithful, putting me into the ministry; 13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor,
and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And the grace
of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
May I Say To You Today That The Only Thing That Will Get You Through Is The Grace Of God…
Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this
purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these
things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17
Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their
eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive
forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 19
Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
1 Cor 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed
upon me was not in vain..!!
It was the grace of God that made Paul who he was… What has God’s grace made you?
Rom 15:15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort,
as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, 16 That I
should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering
up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God
given unto me by the effectual working of his power. 8 Unto me, who am less than the least
of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of
Christ;
Col 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of
the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: 25 Whereof
I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you,
to fulfil the word of God;
Only God Could Make Paul A Witness – What Has His Grace Made You?
- He had been part of a corrupt group of men – bent on destroying God’s plan
- He did not qualify to be one of the 12
- Only God could make him a witness …
- Of a new message
- Of a new age
- Of a new revelation
1 Tim 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for
that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; 13 Who was before a blasphemer,
and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14
And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Has grace been enabled in you?
What dost thou lack? – It’s not grace
1 Cor 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed
upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God
which was with me.

Only God could make Paul A Minister And A Witness
Only God could Deliver Paul From The People & The Gentiles!
Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this
purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those
things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people,
and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from
darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and
inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. 19 Whereupon, O
king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
2 Cor 11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. 25
Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have
been in the deep; 26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in
perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness,
in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 In weariness and painfulness, in
watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 28 Beside
those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
God did not deliver Paul from the circumstances of life but he enabled him turned him on
with grace
2 Cor 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made
perfect in weakness.
It was the grace of God that motivated Paul – and us – to take that next step!
What was Paul’s response to God’s grace? Verse 19!
How will you respond to the grace of God?
Luke 7:36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And
he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. 37 And, behold, a woman in the city,
which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster
box of ointment, 38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet
with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with
the ointment. 39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself,
saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth
him: for she is a sinner. 40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to
say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. 41 There was a certain creditor which had two
debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing
to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43
Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast
rightly judged. 44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman?
I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears,
and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since
the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint:
but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins,
which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude of grace we bring to life.
Paul’s attitude towards the circumstances of life was grace.
