Religious Freedom a Right?

With his minority church under fire by some Hindus for its missionary work, Pope John Paul II said
Sunday that freedom to practice or change one's religion must be considered a basic human right.
Since when? The Pope should tell that to John Wycliff who was persecuted to the death for religious
freedom by the RCC.
Tell it to John Huss who was burned at the stake for religious freedom by the RCC.
Tell it to Martin Luther who was prosecuted by the RCC because of religious freedom.
Tell it to the untold thousands burned at the stake, sawn asunder, butchered, maimed and tortured
by the RCC for religious freedom.
Religious freedom to the RCC means their way or no way even though they are in direct violation of
the word of God hundreds of times in their own canon law.
The RCC is not interested in religious freedom is interested only in subjugation and control of the
masses through a false system of doctrine designed to keep its subjects blind and lost to the truth!
