Now Do I Have Your Attention?
Good, that is what I wanted. I know I have your attention because some of you have called voicing
your "offended" state concerning our position on Catholic doctrine (not catholic people). Good,
now will you please pay attention for just a few minutes more? I have your best interest at heart. I
am not interested in having you join our church or any such notion. I want you to KNOW that you CAN have
eternal life as a PRESENT possession. The Bible, the word of God, says in very unambiguous language that
you can KNOW and know for sure. Read this verse: go on read it...
"1 John 5:13 ... that ye may know that ye have eternal life.."
Your leadership does not believe this. I know, I have asked them, personally. I was told that it is
the sin of presumption to believe this verse! I challenge you. You go ask your priest yourself. I was
told that to "merit" eternal life takes a lifetime of faith and good works which is CONTRARY
to the word of God. The bible says:
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is
dead in vain.
The real issue here is final authority. The RCC stands in direct opposition to salvation by grace
through faith which is exactly what the bible teaches. If you continue on, trusting in the traditions
of men and NOT the word of God you will not end up in purgatory while a priest prays you out of it, you
will end up in the lake of fire. It is not my desire nor God’s that you go there. God loves you and has
made provision for your personal, eternal, know so salvation. But you must come to God on His terms,
not yours or that of some man, men or system. It must be done – by the BOOK.
