At my job, I get to meet a lot of people. Every once in a while I get to talk to them about the Lord.
This one lady I talked to, I asked her where her bible was. Her answer shocked me, she said it was at
church where she sits on Sundays. 2 Tim 2:15 came to mind,
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth".
The very first word is Study, How can you study if you do not have your bible? I asked the lady this
question and her reply was that her preacher told her what she needed to know.
This attitude is typical today. Why study the bible? Why study the word of God? I will just let the
"blind leaders of the blind" lead me.
