America has been under attack for a long time. The attack of September 11th, 2001 left
us stunned and angry but not surprised. As we recover from the shock of seeing the horror of war
brought to these shores of purple mountains majesty we ask… What can we do? As Bible believing
Christians what can we do?
First of all we need to support our country in any way we can.
We can give of our resources
We can donate blood
We can set the standard for righteous behaviour
We can pray
Paul tells us: 1 Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and
for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who
will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God,
and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to
be testified in due time. 7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth
in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. 8 I will therefore
that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
How much time have we spent in pray along these guidelines? Do we know the names of those who we
have elected to office? Bible believers need to be in prayer for all men.
Second… We need to be wary of giving to much authority to our federal government.
We do not make good decisions when we are angry. And while America is still the best place on the
planet to live it is "slumping towards socialism". Because of this attack more controls will come
into our lives that will empower the federal government to keep a tighter control over Americans.
Third… We should be adamant about NOT giving up our freedom for security.
I think is was Thomas Jefferson who said, "Those who would trade freedom for security deserve
neither." And I for one believe that. Be very careful of those who use the word freedoms. We do not
have freedoms we have FREEDOM with no (s). When freedom becomes fragmented into freedoms then we
will loose who we are in this country.
Fourth… We need to continue as Bible believers to train ourselves in the word of God
rightly divided so we can:
Preach Christ to the Lost
Lead the saved into Dispensational Truth
Continue to have our own character changed by the indwelling Lord Jesus Christ.
These three items constitute the bulk of the will of God for the believer today.
It is the will of God that all lost people get saved. If we are going to be a help to America we
need to be trained in the area of "evangelism". A clear, concise, delivery of the gospel of the
grace of God is what this lost world needs to hear.

If you cannot give the gospel one on one to a lost person with clarity and confidence then YOU
cannot be in the will of God. Sorry but that is just the way it is. If you want to be a part of
what God is doing today you need to know he is reaching the lost with the message of grace through
the church the body of Christ!
Saved people who are in the bondage of religion, tradition and denominationalism need to hear
dispensational truth! It is the WILL OF GOD that they hear it.

Notice the underlined words in the verse above. It is absolutely the will of God for folks who are
saved to come to the "knowledge of the truth".
This knowledge of the truth is defined in the Pauline epistles as dispensational truth. Eph 3:1 For
this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the
dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made
known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may
understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
If you cannot present dispensational truth to a saved person with clarity and confidence then YOU
cannot be in the will of God. Sorry but that is just the way it is. If you want to be a part of
what God is doing today you need to know he is reaching the saved with the message of
dispensational truth through the church the body of Christ!
This is the message we can carry to America and the world! An end to confusion about God, his plans
and purpose has been committed to us as ambassadors for Christ and members of his body.
Lastly … We can continue to have our own character changed by the indwelling Lord Jesus Christ.
How we respond during this Attack on America can draw the lost and the saved to the message of
grace. Grace believers need to show grace. To be the kind of people God has called us to be.
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised
up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Imagine that! This old sin cursed body can be quickened (made alive) by the power of the
resurrection and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God. This is the will of God. This is what we
can do for America. We can put on display for all the world to see the grace of God in the lives of
those who have been saved by grace through faith.
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his
Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
We, the church the body of Christ, has been predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.
God is not so much concerned with changing your personality as he is your character. God wants us
to look like, act like and be like His Son.
CONCLUSION
America under attack. Shocking words. But America has been under attack for a long time. The real
enemy is sin, the world and the devil. We, you and I, as members of the church the body of Christ
have been equipped to fight and win this war. Let's get BACK into the fight and say with Paul… 2
